Verizon is now going to charge you a fee if they activate your phone in one of their stores. Just so you know, there is nothing special they do to activate your phone. If you already have a Verizon account, you simply need to turn off your old phone and then turn on your new phone on to activate it. So buy it online or bring it home to activate it. Don't let Verizon charge you an extra fee for turning it on for you!
